Staff Devotions 3

Here are my thoughts from Colossians 2 from this morning's staff devotional. You can read Col. 2 here vv. 1-5 -Who do we have alongside us? Outside of this group are we getting support from others? - What is our tapestry? It's not just about our churchh - it's about the kingdom. We are woven into the tapestry of Christian History, and Present. The more we realized our overall connection the stronger we will be, the more grounded we will be. vv. 6 and rest of the chapter - Living what we've been given We have a purpsoe and mission from God, now we need to make sure that we are living it. It's all about Jesus and his gospel. - Meaningless distractions People will try to get us off track, and off mission. They'll try to debate us over trivial matters and with no results. We don't need toget wrapped up in these debates. We need to speak the truth. The universe is empty w/o christ. - What's distracting us?
